Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Chitti Agents website at chittiagent.com and the services offered on it (the "Service"), operated by Chitti Agents, based in Bengaluru, India ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service, joining the waitlist, or purchasing a founding membership, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Chitti is an AI matchmaking service that gets to know you through conversation and introduces you to a small number of compatible people. The Service is currently pre-launch. Today we offer two things: a free waitlist, and a paid "founding membership" that reserves your place and locks an early rate. Matchmaking features are not yet available and will roll out city by city after launch.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service, join the waitlist, or purchase a founding membership. By using the Service you confirm that you are 18 or older and legally able to enter into these Terms.

3. Your account and conduct

You agree to give accurate information (such as a valid email and your city and country) and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for activity that happens under your email or membership. You agree not to misuse the Service, including attempting to disrupt it, access it in unauthorized ways, submit false information, or use it to harass or harm others. We may suspend or end access that breaches these Terms.

4. Founding membership and payments

A founding membership is a paid, pre-launch commitment that reserves your place and locks your founding rate for the terms described at checkout. Prices are shown in USD.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment processing, billing, and related customer service inquiries, and applicable taxes may be added at checkout. When you buy a founding membership, you also agree to Paddle's buyer terms.

5. Refunds

Founding memberships are fully refundable before we launch in your city. For the full policy and how to request a refund, see our Refund Policy.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its name, logo, text, and design, belongs to Chitti Agents and is protected by applicable law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You may not copy, resell, or create derivative works from it without our permission.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Because it is pre-launch, features, timelines, and availability may change, and we do not guarantee any specific outcome, including any match or relationship. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chitti Agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves toward launch. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
